Experiential Learning

A highlight of the UBC MBA program is the summer experiential learning component. Get hands-on experience pursuing an internship or entrepreneurial project where you can bring cutting-edge knowledge to live business problems.

Spend the summer working at an organization and apply your learning and skills to a selected project. You could be hired for a variety of project types and industries such as consulting, financial analysis, marketing, new market exploration/feasibility studies, sustainability, and operational/process analysis.

Entrepreneurial Project

Thinking of developing a new service or product, or want to partner with someone who does? This option gives you an opportunity to work on a specific business idea, driving it forward by creating a business plan or feasibility study. Tap into UBC-wide resources for mentoring and support. You’ll not only be connecting with a burgeoning network of like-minded people from other faculties, but also the flourishing entrepreneurship culture of the West Coast.
