The UBC International MBA Program, offered by UBC Sauder's Robert H. Lee Graduate School in partnership with the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University provides an advanced business education with
a truly global focus.
From the very first day you will get
opportunities to apply cutting edge business knowledge in a wide range of contexts. The program includes a trip to Vancouver, where you will be exposed to the pioneering spirit of one of the most
dynamic cities in the world.
A solid foundation
The program begins with eight foundation modules covering Organizational Behaviour, Strategy, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Statistics and Managerial Economics. Together with a sustained focus on Business Strategy Integration, these courses give you an essential foundation in advanced business and management techniques. It ends with your first trip to Vancouver for an intensive two-week study period.
You study 14 modules to complete your first-class business management education. IMBA modules are designed to give you an in-depth understanding of essential business functions. Throughout the modules, the challenges of global business will be a common theme.
The Capstone is one of the highlights of the IMBA program. It brings together students and the business community in the program’s final weeks, and provides an opportunity to build upon the knowledge and experience gained throughout the preceding two years. Capstone involves business speakers and live cases for you to recommend real business solutions, and provides an invaluable opportunity to make real connections with the business community.
