Bruce Wiesner is the Associate Dean, Executive Education, providing overall leadership and strategic direction of business development and operations for the business unit. A graduate of the UBC Sauder School, Wiesner brings to the team almost thirty years of management and senior executive experience with a proven track record in leading successful growth strategies within the publishing, advertising and media industries. Bruce was previously Senior Vice-President of Canada Wide Media Ltd and has also held several senior positions at Quebecor World Inc. including Regional Vice-President. Prior to that he spent several years in key management roles with Pitney Bowes and Konica Minolta.

Jackie Howard
Director, Client Engagement

Jackie Howard is the Director, Client Engagement for UBC Sauder Executive Education, bearing overall responsibility for the unit’s business development activities. A life-long advocate of continued professional development, Jackie works with clients across sectors and business size to identify their unique challenges and creates cutting edge learning solutions that transfer UBC Sauder’s leading research pedigree into real-world applications. Jackie brings to the team over ten years of experience in corporate education with a proven record of designing programs, operations management, and client engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of William & Mary in Virginia, United States.

Dilla Wong
Director, Business Development & Programming, International

Dilla is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic B2B sales plan and programming design for UBC Sauder Executive Education’s International market. Dilla works with public and private sector clients to identify performance goals and determine creative solutions for addressing a variety of organizational development needs. Dilla has a B.Sc. from UBC, majoring in Animal Biology and minoring in Japanese. She is also an INSEAD MBA graduate and has spent most of her early career in advertising and luxury retail in Asia, with roles in sales, marketing and business development.

Anson Tung
Director, Open Enrolment

Anson is the Director, Open Enrolment, overseeing the complete design and delivery of the open enrolment short and week-long courses and programs. He provides overall leadership and working with the operations teams, ensures the courses and programs are at the highest standards. He partners and collaborates closely with the faculty and industry practitioners to deliver impactful learning that help professionals to build and hone-in on their skills, resulting in higher performance in their functions and organizations. Anson brings extensive and hands-on experience in executive education, talent and leadership development, from working with private and public organizations in Canada and Asia.

Sean Corbishley

Séan Corbishley
Director, Executive & Custom Programs

Séan is the Director of the school’s Custom & Executive Programs. He works with public and private organizations to deliver the highest standard of educational and workplace training. Séan has been involved in private sector and post-secondary education for the past thirteen years. His experience includes designing, implementing, and directing educational programs for some of Canada’s largest corporations and public sector organizations.

Lynn O'Reilly

Lynn O'Reilly
Director, Digital Learning

Lynn is the Director, Digital Learning, for UBC Sauder Executive Education, a role that helps shape, promote and influence the development and delivery of digital learning across all of Executive Education’s programs. Lynn began her career in Tokyo, Japan, where she worked as an editor and an educator for more than 10 years. Prior to her move to the Sauder School of Business, Lynn worked with UBC’s Department of Continuing Studies to facilitate the design, development and delivery of online certificate courses for business professionals. She holds a Masters of Education in Distance Education from Athabasca University.

Penny Chang
Director, Asia Strategy

Penny Chang is the Director, Asia Strategy for UBC Sauder School of Business. Her previous experience includes HR management and business development in the consulting and education industry, including her most recent role as Assistant Director of MBA Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Maryland. Penny holds a BCom from UBC Sauder and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

Andrea Oberdieck  

Andrea Oberdieck
Program Director

Andrea works with Executive Education's largest key clients to fully assess their custom education needs and build their custom education solution. She also works with key faculty members to ensure that client needs are materialized and is responsible for the program performance. Andrea has been with UBC Sauder School of Business for over four years in various capacities. She has previously worked in both the private and public sector in communications.

Jim Zhang
Manager, Business Development

Jim is responsible for business development initiatives at Executive Education. He has a particular focus on expanding the range of intensive programs for our Asia portfolio of senior leaders and managers, working closely with faculty and clients to develop new programs that deliver on the School's vision and meet the needs of our business community. Jim brings significant experience of developing world class executive education from his time at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, where he was responsible for executive program development and management.

Camilla Cao

Camilla Cao
Client Experience Manager

Camilla is the Client Experience Manager for UBC Sauder Executive Education. She oversees our Client Service Team to promote a positive learning environment and deliver an excellent client experience, along with maintaining faculty relationships, for Open Enrollment Programs and Custom Programs. Camilla holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Dalhousie University. Camilla comes from a multi-cultural background which includes Korea, China, and Japan as well as banking background where she played a key role in winning multiple awards for excellence in client satisfaction.

Anita Boomer   

Anita Boomer
Manager, Direct Mail Marketing

Anita is responsible for the direct mail marketing of Executive Education open enrollment programs. Since 1990, she has been the presence behind the “written face” of Executive Education. She also manages the production and distribution of the unit’s printed brochures. Anita holds a Masters degree from UBC in English language and literature.

Wendy Bishop

Wendy Bishop
Program Manager

Wendy has been with the UBC Sauder School of Business since 1980 in a number of different capacities, including Alumni Relations, the Dean’s Office, the Real Estate Division and Executive Education. As the Program Manager for Executive Education's premium programs, Wendy is responsible for providing in-class customer service support and managing students' post course follow-up learning. Wendy has her degree from UBC in Human Kinetics, with a minor in English, and her Education certificate.

Stephanie ("Stevie") Jackson
Program Leader

Stephanie (“Stevie”) Jackson is the Program Leader for Executive Education’s Digital Programs and as such is responsible for the administration of the Digital Strategy, Social Media, and Digital Marketing Communications programs. She has been with UBC since 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto, where she majored in English Language and Literature.

Mandy Hu
Learning Advisor

Mandy is the Learning Advisor for the Open Enrollment portfolio at UBC Sauder Executive Education. She advises clients and prospective participants on program and certificate selection, course and seminar offerings, and specific professional development and learning paths to best meet client needs. As a key member of the organization, Mandy works alongside the Executive Education team to alleviate clientele concerns and inquiries in order to provide not only an outstanding course and program delivery, but also more importantly a positive client experience and learning environment.

Fleur Shakouri Headshot

Fleur Shakouri
Office Coordinator

Fleur is the office coordinator for UBC Sauder Executive Education. She creates new processes and implements new working practices to better support the organization. She supports change by developing new templates and documentation that enables the team to deliver key milestones. She maintains project budgets and submissions for spend approvals, provides daily divisional support, schedules meetings and appointments, and sets up video conferences. Fleur holds a higher diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from London, UK.

Imogene Huxham

Imogene Huxham
Senior Program Coordinator

Imogene is the Senior Program Coordinator for Executive Education. Imogene coordinates week long programs such as Meeting The Leadership Challenge, Essential Management Skills, and the Integrated Management Program. In addition, Imogene also coordinates customized programs such as the Physician Leadership Program. Imogene has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Simon Fraser University. She has been with the UBC Sauder School of Business for seven years and previously worked as a Human Resources training coordinator at UBC Plant Operations for 8 years.

Elsie is the program coordinator for Open Enrollment programs at Executive Education. Working alongside the Executive Education faculty, she is responsible for organizing all course logistics and ensuring that students have an excellent learning environment. Elsie brings to the team over a decade of experience as an Assistant Investment Advisor at TD Waterhouse.

Aurelia is the program coordinator for Executive Education’s Custom, International, and Open Enrollment programs. Working alongside the Executive Education faculty, she is responsible for organizing all course logistics and ensuring that students have an excellent learning environment. Aurelia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Mandarin from Concordia University, and brings to the team international work experience in China, as well as with the Chinese community in British Columbia.

Wanda is the Program Coordinator for Executive Education and she ensures the smooth operation of Open Enrollment and Custom Programs. Coming from a service background, Wanda is dedicated to ensure an effective and pleasant learning experience for all clients by accommodating their academic needs and other logistical requests. Wanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double specialization in Finance and Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management.

Sunny Lee
Executive Assistant to Bruce Wiesner

Sunny is the Executive Assistant to the Associate Dean of Executive Education, and she is largely responsible for scheduling and correspondence, as well as coordination of Executive Education events and programs. As part of a dynamic team, she coordinates various external events, handling the logistics and communication between several parties. She also oversees many aspects of Open Enrollment and Custom Programs to deliver a pleasant learning experience. Sunny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UBC and has previously worked as a research executive at one of the world’s largest healthcare marketing research agencies. Having worked internationally in both Korea and Canada, she brings a global mindset that places significant emphasis on client-focused service.

Amethyst Chen
Marketing & Sales Assistant

Amethyst is the Marketing & Sales Assistant for UBC Sauder Executive Education. As part of the Marketing team, Amethyst provides operational and business development support and assists with various tasks such as the execution of strategic marketing plans, Marketing collateral development, website updates and reports creation. Amethyst holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sauder, specializing in Finance.
