About the speaker:

Ken SimKen Sim is a lifelong Vancouverite, entrepreneur, and politician with a passion for making lives better.

Ken has been recognized with numerous business achievements including EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award twice (2006 and 2016) and a spot on Business in Vancouver’s 2005 Top 40 Under 40 list.

Ken’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Nurse Next Door in 2001 to provide seniors with the services they need to age with dignity – building the company into an award-winning employer with 200 franchises throughout North America and Australia. In 2013, Ken co-founded Rosemary Rocksalt Bagels, now a beloved staple across the Lower Mainland.

Ken is a proud graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business (BCom, Finance 1993) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
