Robert H. Lee
In November 2006, the Robert H. Lee Graduate School was established at UBC Sauder School of Business. The graduate school is named in recognition of Robert H. Lee for his generous gift to graduate education at the school as well as his long-term support to UBC.
Robert H. Lee is an alumnus (BCom ‘56) and long-time patron of UBC. He served as a member of the UBC Board of Governors (1984-90) and as the university’s Chancellor (1993-96). He was a key founder of UBC Properties Trust. He is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Law from UBC, the Order of British Columbia, and the Order of Canada. Lee is founder and Chairman of the Prospero Group, and is known for his business leadership in west coast real estate investment.
